Established in 1981 by the school’s founders, Drs Jagdish & Bharti Gandhi, it has maintained its high standard of English medium education with emphasis on both spoken English and creative writing. Education is imparted from pre-primary to class VIII level and students are groomed as world citizens to make the world a better place to live in.

Knowledge must serve humanity and not include sciences and philosophies which begin and end in mere words.
As we celebrate the 60th year of excellence at CMS we also look forward to the challenges we face in the future. Exploring new pedagogies and implementing new strategies we aim to bring about a wholesome change not only in the life of our students but that of the society as well. One thing we have learnt over the years is that it is only an ethically and spiritually strong person who can take on those challenges and emerge victorious, thereby heralding change, and this is what we are currently engaged in – moulding young minds in accordance with spiritual precepts, ethics and values to create global citizens capable of bringing about a transformation in the world.

Establised - 1981
by the school’s founder, Dr Jagdish & Bharti Gandhi, , CMS Jopling Road Campus I is deemed to be one of the premier institutions of the country.
Not only is it known for its academic excellence, but is also reputed for the innumerable extra-curricular activities that the school encourages.
Spread over a large area, the branch offers the facilities of state-of-the-art library and Computer lab, a spacious auditorium, an athletic turf, a basketball court, a swimming pool and an FM recording and broadcasting station. Physics, Chemistry, English, Mathematics, Biology, and Robotics Laboratories at the branch are designed to encourage and kindle the interest of students. Equipped with the latest equipment and modern apparatus, each laboratory has ample working area, experienced faculty which benefits the students in the pursuit of scientific knowledge. The installation of CCTV cameras at strategic locations and a public announcement system adds to the students’ security, convenience and safety. The branch also has spacious classrooms, good ventilation, space to interact, making coming to school a pleasure.
Athletics, Debating, Dramatics, Social Service, Music are but a few of the varying opportunities provided to young minds to help find their sphere of interest. E-boards are transforming the way lessons are taught in school. Interactive white boards with multi touch interactivity by BRIO are installed in all classes to make concepts and lessons come alive in the classroom. Thus making the lessons easy to comprehend and quick to recall.
CMS, Gomti Nagar Campus I believes in providing enriching, empowering & exploratory experience to its students. Whether it is the aesthetically designed interiors, inventive labs or working models in the science park for better comprehension of scientific facts and phenomena, it is the endeavour of the school to provide the best facilities and committed teachers for the overall development of the child. The campus offers an environment which exposes fertile minds to mental stimulation and nimble bodies to healthy quests!
The branch has been bestowed upon with many awards over the years. It has been ranked the number 1 school in Uttar Pradesh by the Education World India School Rankings 2023. The 8th Indy’s Education Award’ for Outstanding School (North) was awarded to the branch for the school’s outstanding contribution in the field of Education.
